The fandom/convention stuff was mostly pretty lazy but the diversity panel gag and the stuff about steampunk protagonists was so spot on it felt like one staffer in the writer’s room knew the field very well but only a couple of their joke pitches ended up in the episode.

I’m so glad to hear that cops are great at dealing with domestic violence cases and women drop charges for totally unremarkable reasons on your planet. Here, things are much more complex.

Why are you so invested in Depp’s imagined innocence?

Depp is barely a fraction of a percent of the man Vincent Price was.

The TV show is a sad story. There was a pilot, which got leaked (maybe to drum up interest), but the leaking enraged the WB so much they canned the whole thing.

Dude, it’s not assumptions, we literally know Rashida Jones quit Toy Story 4 because of him.

If you’ve ever wondered why a certain creative grouping, such as Pixar, took an incredibly long time to feature female characters in substantial roles, well, there might be a fairly obvious reason after all.

Well this is certainly one way to look at it.

KinJa has lousy moderation tools but I’ve started using “dismiss this person” pretty relentlessly and at least it puts these trolls out of my field of view.

To be clear: you’re a deeply stupid and evil person.
