I would co-sign pretty much all of this. It’s just unpleasant to use this site now.
Good question. How indeed IS it news? Perhaps the AV Club will one day publish a feature on how chronological events occurring sequentially are refashioned into narratives and loaded onto a website.
Maybe the fundamental issue is that binge-watching is an unhealthy way to consume media. Insert whatever modifier on “unhealthy” that you wish, whether physically, emotionally, cognitively.
