Waterstone, the main book chain in the UK did something similar.
That’s a very polite way to say that he wasn’t digging what Lupita was doing, and cut down her part.
8 billion more to go to catch Kal’s number for Man Of Steel.
There needs to be a term for this sort of thing where a geek thinks that a story or show is referencing his favorite bugbear when there’s absolutely no evidence to that effect outside of his own head canon. Geeknificating, perhaps?
Let me clarify: I don’t actually hate Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I watched the movie three times in four days,…
I just that price won’t be just death of characters. I’m starting to get real tired of filmmakers and fan espousing this theory that killing cjaracters is theonly way to raise stakes or get viewers invested in the story.
I’m now officially getting worried that they are over-advertising this because they know its bad. Someone please come along and tell me I’m wrong and to stop worrying. Thanks in advance!
Is the trigger warning in print here to stay, will every grown up and hard to discuss, or accept, thing now be self censored, and forewarned, and cut out in the future to suit the selfish purview of a vocal minority? Do the Millennials get to force a world upon us where we pretend nothing hurts their-feelings-ever, and…
Frankly this movie can bear to be 15/20 min longer. at least half of the movies problems if not more could be fixed by a smart use of a little more screentime. There’s really only the copy-pasted plot element from the OT that can’t be and that’s not a massive problem at all once everything else has been.

Oh good, that means we can expect I09 to be full of click bait garbage like this.
I haven’t been able to see the show yet, but I’ve read the book a few times, including recently because I was curious how true the show would stay to the book.
Expectations tempered, but still a bit hopeful. I mean, I set my expectations as “better than the prequels” at best, so there’s no way I’m going to be disappointed one way or another.

I would love to see Paul McGann return as the 8th Doctor for a proper televised adventure. Wouldn’t it be great to see Capaldi’s 12thDoctor and the 8th Doctor team up in the grand tradition of throwing two Doctors together and seeing what happens. It’d be nice if Paul could return to Doctor Who as part of the 20th…
