Cobra called. They want their Terror Drome back.

Great catch. I knew that felt familiar.

Yeah that's unfortunate. I bought it digitally but I really wanted to get my Dad a copy for Christmas. Maybe this year. I might even buy a physical copy for myself. Seems weird that the publisher is taking so long to put it out on the market. I'm sure they have reasons.

I watched the first four episodes and didn't care about a single character. That's all I needed to tune out given the amount of quality TV out there right now. It's not like the old days when I would stick to a scifi/fantasy show because it was my only drink of water in the desert of the television landscape. Seeing

I love Miyazaki's work. I like most of these a lot.

Man I love Quitley's work but I never noticed how atrociously long Superman's neck is in this piece until now.

I feel like nobody would give you a hard time for that. I would say to check out the third episode because it was the most X-Files of them all and was a lot of fun.

The thing is no movie becomes a blockbuster on single viewings. A lot of people have to go see a movie multiple times to make it a huge success (at least domestically.) This is the kind of movie people are going to see two or three times. I think I missed half the jokes in the movie because I was laughing to hard to

The movie could very well see a huge dropoff this weekend. However it got a “A” CinemaScore, which means people actually liked the movie.

Filmation’s animated Ghostbusters was based on a live action TV series from 1975 called The Ghost Busters.

Batman is wearing a powersuit much like the one he wore in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

It is a very Batman idea though. Let's not forget that he developed secret plans for how to take down every member of the Justice League. People talk about Superman being a boy scout but it's Batman who's always prepared.

The only thing keeping me watching is Tom Ellis. This guy is killing it. I’m wanting this show to transition from police procedural into something more significant and there are some hints at that but for now his charisma is keeping me in.

I'm re-reading the preacher trades before the TV series starts and I'm halfway through the Salvation arc. There are some great moments in that arc. I'm surprised they're moving it up so far in the timeline.

Yeah Deadpool wasn't really Deadpool as we know him today until Joe Kelly got ahold of him.

I don't know the exact number because I've been adding and dropping a lot lately but my monthly pull list is probably around 45-50 titles per month. Of those I would say only 5 are Marvel/DC. Another 4-5 are DC's Vertigo imprint. The rest are mostly Image and Boom with some IDW, Dark Horse and other indies splashed in

Claremontism. Nerds of my era who grew up with him will swear he was the best comic writer of all time. He set the stage well but he overwrote everything. He felt like he had to describe everything that could just be shown in the art.

Bravo

Aren’t CBS and Warner Brothers co owners of the CW? To me that combined with the shared creative teams made this a no brainer.
