I'd be the first to pile on if I though this was really about his superstition but I think it's really about marketing.

Yup. Gotta get cracking on that repulsor technology.
I went from astronaut to archaeologist to chemist before finally settling on comic book artist when I realized I wanted to do all these things because of how the were portrayed in comics. I'm not a comic book artist but I do get to be an artist in my day job as a graphic designer, and I'm slowly working my way into…
He impressed me in Inglourious Bastards too.
I like his work but I haven't seen enough of it. Gabriel Rodriguez is way up on my list. So are Fiona Staples and Sean Gordon Murphy. Mike Mignola is always up there. Oh and I'm really loving the work Zach Howard is doing especially on Wild Blue Yonder.
I came here to say this. He's one of the top five on my list of artists right now. Everything he does has weight and depth in a way that seems effortless. Plus he can draw anything and pull it off in any type of story. I aspire to his level while at the same time knowing I can probably never reach it.
I understand that changes need to be made when you adapt material. I'm just worried that this has been changed so much the only commonality it will have with the source material is the title. Why does it seem so often that people adapting material hate the material they're adapting? Anyway who's excited for Fantastic…
Powers Bureau Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are out.
This actually happened once. Ok no Firefly but Alien meets pig. It's creatively titled Aliens: Pig. I have this book somewhere.
Yeah they got their shop wrecked. It's probably the only Alien comic book ever to have continuity impact.
I always felt that Alien: Resurrection was a bit Proto-Firefly. If it weren't for the Fleshy Baby Alien and the overacting that movie would be really great instead of the guilty pleasure I see it as now.
I've never seen that pic of the three bats combined. That's really cool.
Awww you missed it by one year. Oh well. My grandmother took me to see that movie in the theaters when i was a kid and has never forgiven me for it. I love it though.
You try hard to pretend that the animated Transformers: The Movie never happened??? That movie is that bomb!!! More Exclamation!!!!
I have to say that, though it had a promising first issue , The Star Wars devolved into an utter mess. The writing was choppy and the art got less precise over the run. It reads like the early draft it was. Love stories evolving with no motivation whatsoever. Characters you are given no reason to care about. I like a…
Even weirder "Let's all stare at my Dad's junk."
True, but I can't believe it took so long given my level of Whedonism. Thanks for enlightening me.
How did I not know that was Wesley!?!?!
I could see him directing Peter Milligan and Mike Allred's run on X-Force/X-Statix with Doop presented in Fantastic Mister Fox style Stop motion animation.
It's such a beautiful, sad movie.
