Agreed.  If you as a company have technology that enables one country to attack another (heavily nuclear armed) country, you’d best be VERY cautious about every move that is made.

He’s not totally wrong though.  Even growing up poor, I had a standard of living that was vastly superior to even middle class people in places like India and most of Latin America.  Things like having a refrigerator, air conditioning, clean water (outside of Flint) is considered a luxury in so many parts of the world.

Yeah, there’s just a lot of danger in that form of entertainment.  I’m sure he knew the risks, and he just got unlucky that day.  It’s sad but it’s a better exit from this earth than most of us get.

With A/C, this cost $22,317 in 2022 dollars.  Basic transportation is actually cheaper now and 100 times better in every single way.

I don’t care how crazy the market is, this price is easily double what it’s worth.  It’s a 20+ year old Ford car.  Early 2000's Ford cars were terrible (I know from experience).

It will be interesting to see the long-term reliability of these compared to their diesel counterparts.  It’s smart to have the diesel backup...I’ve always preferred the Chevy Volt setup (battery with a small fuel backup) to a pure electric choice.
