I love manuals, but the benefits of having one have become practically nonexistent aside from “I like the feel” and that it’s a pretty good theft deterrent. The fuel economy argument is gone and the electronic clutchless “shifting” is getting better by the year.  The end is nigh.

They have some pretty nice Impalas for less than $16k with barely 30k miles.  That’s a pretty good deal for a car that is actually pretty nice.

Folks who have large collections like this need to live in an unincorporated rural area.  That’s where the true freedom is.

I’m glad you’re doing Baja, which is the only region of Mexico I would ever do a road trip right now.  While the rest of Mexico isn’t as crazy as it was 5 years ago, it’s still rough.

That car is the Hongqi L5 that Clarkson drove this past season in China. It’s $760,000.  He basically said it was horrible but he liked the looks of it.

I love cars...as does just about everyone else on this site, but 72, 85, etc. loans is INSANE.  You don’t need to thump the bible of Dave Ramsey to know how dumb that is.  It’s just so frustrating to see this stuff.

I don’t understand why people are so shocked when people scam people who “look like them”.  It’s been going on since the beginning of time.  Every color has MANY scammers of their own kind...has nothing to do with skin color, it’s all about the greed.

The issue is that the constitution doesn’t guarantee the right to drive a car.  I agree with you, but that’s the rub.

1. The selection of station wagons is VERY limited these days (especially at the lower end of the spectrum).

I live in Southeast Texas.  4wd is completely useless here as it never snows and is completely flat.
