As someone who has supported Republicans for many years, I’m just dumbfounded that they are trying to kill this law without something to replace it with.  If this succeeds, it’s a political nightmare for them in 2020.  What is the end game for them?  The ACA is extremely flawed, but better than what we had before…

So by that logic, white business owners can charge higher prices to non-whites.  I’m sure folks here at The Root would be perfectly fine with that, right?

$100 Billion + reparations for a single race of people (13% of the population) when there are tens of millions of poor Whites, Hispanics, and Asians isn’t going to fly.  Do you really think we’re going to go from electing Donald Trump to reparations/black homeowner initiatives in one election cycle?  I mean, really?

Do you really want to open the door to tiered pricing based on race?  Is that something the black community really wants?  If that’s the Pandora’s box you guys want to open, so be it I guess.

That’s not my point.  Of course they have large urban centers where the black vote can make or break races.  My point is these policies will COMPLETELY alienate white Democrats in these states to where they will either not show up at the polls or vote for Trump.  

That’s the ticket to better race relations, tiered pricing.  If that’s how one race wants to play, then all races can play the same game.  Is that REALLY the direction we want to go in this country?  I mean, really?
