The thing is, Nintendo also never said he was retiring. The original press release just said he was stepping back from voice acting. Yes, he has said “I want to voice Mario until I drop dead,” but he also added a caveat that “If someday I think I am no longer capable of doing it, I will tell Nintendo to look into

Some people see a conspiracy to push out Charles Martinet and replace him with AI, which is certainly possible, but I think it’s at least equally likely that Nintendo just didn’t think this would be as big of a deal as it has become. As video game nerds, we know who Charles Martinet is, but I guarantee you that the

After it was announced that legendary voice actor Charles Martinet would no longer portray Mario in future Nintendo games (starting with October 20's Super Mario Bros. Wonder) but would become a “Mario Ambassador,” fans were confused. What is a Mario Ambassador? Why isn’t Martinet voicing the Italian-American plumber

The reason is almost certainly a practical one: Red is **Mario’s** interface color, and they usually like to have a single obvious color for each playable character in these games so players can reliably tell themselves apart in the HUD and menus and such.

Yeah sorry, but unless you’re willing to let yourself be judged for any mistake or cheating in a given game, this argument doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

I see this comment on nearly every conversation about this topic on kotaku, heck maybe its always you saying it, but i just dont get it. Its such a massively broad statement.

Perhaps, but "I wasn't expecting to be beaten therefore my opponent cheated" is a ridiculous statement to make, regardless of said opponent's history of conduct.

I never expected there to be limitless walking planet-side”

Not gonna lie, I have no idea why anyone would want this in the first place.  It doesn’t make the game better simply because you put more stuff in it.

As always, his ego cannot comprehend that no one likes him. He’s been wrecking everything he touches for years. He just had enough people around him that cared that he couldn’t fire.

He is a grifter, a charlatan, and has ruined one of the most vibrant online communities just to stoke his own ego. The irony is that it’s

…it also kinda makes me wonder where the value for Microsoft is in the entire deal now.

...how is having Ubisoft manage Activision’s catalog for cloud services a pro-consumer move?

You read it right the first time. Ubi will have exclusive streaming rights, but at their discretion *may* license it to competing services. GamePass will only get it (for streaming) if MS and Ubi come to an agreement and Microsoft pays them for it. Given the large financial outlay for Ubi, it’s likely streaming would

The UK’s CMA will almost certainly approve it. This directly addresses the reason they denied the merger before, and I think it would be hard for them to argue it doesn’t.  If they come up with some other reason to block the merger then they’d be backtracking on their previous ruling.

This is the worst outcome this merger could have.

I would think that the pizza chains would be in a different situation because delivery was a part of their model all along (and there’s not quite as much of a premium on pizza delivery). A lot of people who would never think of getting a burger or a bucket of chicken delivered have been ordering pizza delivery for

I’m not even being sarcastic when I say that I am shocked that people have realized that paying more money for cold, soggy food is a bad idea. I would have thought the combination of laziness and lack of taste would have continued to win out.

Out of curiosity, I clicked through to the Collider article to see how they reported it, and while I wish it was clearer, they never refer to the promotion as a “giveaway.” I really think Emma Keates either misunderstood what Netflix was offering or didn’t realize the implications of her wording. That’s why I

Also, this article might be the most convincing evidence that the writers don’t write the headlines to their own posts because this:
