This was all about 3rd party games.

What a terrible hot take. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were fantastic games. Their mission based structure still holds up great today. Most FPS these days just have you walk through the level from set piece to set piece. Boring.

So am I a complete anomaly that I have been playing Simpson's Tapped Out and Yugioh Duel Links for years without spending money on either game?

I found this:

The market was smaller back then, so 2 million on the SNES was pretty good. It is listed as the 20th best selling game on the SNES, right behind Super Mario RPG.

Gotta say, the Nintendo pricing of $50 a year doesn't seem so bad anymore.

This needs more stars.

No. I wish people would stop with this stupid rumor.

Seconded. Would love to see that article.

Very true, and I think this is something a lot of people don't understand.

The price tag is only about 50 cents per track. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Especially since that will double the number of tracks in the game.

What kind of stuff I getting delisted?

Wii got Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

If it was actually that profitable, Nintendo would not have stopped with the Virtual Console that they had on the Wii and expanded it from there.

Did you know that Prime 4 is in development?

Do you? Happens at the end of every playoff series.

Had to go find my mini review of this game. I played it back in 2013, and I was pretty disappointed by it. It calls itself a platformer, but it is not really. It is an action-adventure game with weak combat and very light platforming elements.  I never bothered with Epic Mickey 2.  On with the 8 year old review:

It is not even about what was on that boat, it is also about all the shipping traffic that it held up while it was stuck.

I wish Nintendo would have kept the Wii eshop open too. I hate that they closed it. Some games are just unavailable now.

I’ve realized the same thing. Found a website that tracks prices for each game on Steam. Seems like most games go on sale 3 or 4 times each year, and they almost always have the same discount.
