I ate a pot cookie a few months ago before the Boeing factory tour up north of Seattle. I figured, eat cookie half hour before, get stoned, geek out over large assembly lines and airplane components, sober up while making paper airplanes in the museum, drive home. What is not to love about that idea. 3 hours later,

It’s funny, that’s the exact same path my mind took. I’ve really never been in love with the SV650 but it would be the rational choice for me to make instead of the 07. I could get one on craigslist for super cheap.

I think so too. It’s just a shame they don’t have it now because I’m in the process of shopping. Oh hello Duke 390...

Somewhat off topic. I’d probably buy an FZ-07 if they had an ABS option. I know I will get blasted for even being interested in ABS but it’s one of those things that I feel should be on a brand new, recently designed bike. Yes, the four bikes I’ve owned before didn’t have it, but I can tell you I wish they did

I wonder, has anyone ever flipped on over to get a lower CG in a performance car? Obviously not in a modern car but maybe way back when...

I sold it to a guy who didn’t strike me as mechanically inclined enough to fix a head gasket (though I fully disclose what is wrong when I sell things) and it was so cheap I don’t really think he paid to have a mechanical do it, my assumption is that there was something very basic and cheap to fix that needed to be

It leaks if you don’t even take to top off. I honestly think the soft top leaks less than the hard top, which is ridiculous.

I have one. I promise you, even from the factory on day 1 the interior is never dry.

Milky oil, thought it burned coolant, it was a shit box I bought for 600 dollars as is.

I sold a car for really cheap once because I didn’t want to change the head gasket that was surely blown. Turns out, there was nothing wrong with it. Still see that beater around town once in a while....

To be fair, the contract manufacturers over in china are probably just building what these companies send them. They will gladly (and apologetically) take your money for changes when you figure out that your design was never all that good to begin with.
I run a small product design firm, and pretty often, I see people

I just picked up a Roomba 655 (costco version of the 650) a few days ago. My apartment is a larger 2 bedroom where the bedrooms are carpet and the rest is hardwood. I am genuinely surprised by how much crap the thing picks up daily. I plan on getting a mid level stick vacuum for spot cleaning, but I expect in my

3.6 Jeep motors too

I found out almost a year after buying my Wrangler that it had some “sheet metal work” before I bought it. No one disclosed it at the time of purchase, I doubt there is anything I can do about it now. Hopefully it doesn’t show up on the carfax as an accident or something whenever I try to trade it out for a new car.

No, base model 500 was 10k. The Abarths were still like 16-19 brand new and cheaper used. I could see the guy really really wanted to sell a car, so I would bet you could talk them down a ton more. Seriously though, he offered me a bike if I bought a car today.

This simultaneously is impressive and causes me anxiety. I suck at backing things up using mirrors, add a trailer and the game is basically over.

It worked pretty well for my purposes before I moved the city. I’ve stuffed an impressive amount of ikea furniture in that trunk, full weekends worth of camping gear, and was able to fit a 29er mountain bike in when necessary. Despite being totally impractical, it was surprisingly practical as my DD.

I moved to a city full of terrible drivers and very steep hills. It was getting it’s ass kicked on a daily basis. Every time it scraped over a hill I felt like I was getting punched in the stomach.

I’m thinking about buying a gently used Limited in the near future as my second car. I miss mine.
