Also, I think about the time it takes to get from the parking lot to the gate in most airports that flight attendants live by. I fly weekly for work, and it is a 30 minute process at the very least to park, walk, get through TSA, and get to the gate. That is another hour a day that they are not paid for.

My daughter goes to school in TX, because that is where we live.

The reason that college costs have grown at that rate? Part of it is due to the amount banks lend to students.  When the loads increased in the 90's, so did the cost for school.  Banks and schools are in on it together.
