There are credit unions out there that are zero down.  Navy Federal is one of them.  Their interest rate is higher, but so is their risk.  There is no PMI insurance on the loan (I believe), so it may balance out.  If you want to buy, you should look into it.  If buying goes against your values, then I get that too.
