My son goes to school in Waco, not Baylor. He says that this is typical of Baylor. He got a DUI, even after we had multiple discussions about the evils of drinking and driving, and has community service, costs of 7 grand, etc. Not saying DUIs should be taken lightly, but FFS it shouldn’t be more than rape, drugging…

Nope, still not correct. Under the first amendment, you can say what you want and the government cannot punish you. It doesn’t say anything about private citizens holding you accountable for what you said. That said, we can’t take away anyone’s first amendment rights. We can call someone who is an ass, an ass.

Put together a one pager that tells what you have done to prepare for the role. Everything that sounds managerial, put it in.  Mentor to people, had new hires entrusted to you, lead on a project, add it. It’s what got me over the hump last month for a promotion. Good luck!
