I-10, anywhere.

I think this is a pretty nice EV, but in the interest of a fair comparison, it should be mentioned that the Tesla Model 3 LR range according to the EPA test was 334 miles, not 310. Tesla asked the EPA to de-rate the Model 3 for reasons that are their own, but probably because 310 provides a more accurate reflection of

Not that it matters when your dead, but I was going to say the same thing. The road bed ain’t anywhere close to 300 ft tall - towers, yes.

What do you think is actually required, not including cash for growth?

Agreed, but wouldn’t the steps you laid out only be taken after any sort of deal was approved, with a firm timeline in place, and starting to be implemented? Steps that would only be taken at least months to a year from now?

The list of possible candidates with enough cash to pony up the estimated $80 something billion dollars necessary to make it work is already slim as it is.

Thank you!!!! The acceleration is due to the battery and electric motors; fuel cells don’t produce a lot of power, hence the 12kWh battery.

Not that I’m going to post this to everyone individually, but holy shit, Musk threatening to sue this guy has nothing to do with the 1st amendment regarding freedom of the press. Go get on your google and figure out why. My god people, this is like 6th grade Government class level.

That’s cool. I always felt that the “regular” Singers were understated in a way that the owners might actually drive them.

It’s a little overwhelming, not that it matters. You’ll never see one of these in the wild. I prefer the seamless look of the regular Singer rear fenders to this as well.

My gym has a key rack by the door, I don’t keep anything valuable in my car so I had no problem leaving the keys on it. Well one day I finish my workout and lo and behold, someone had taken my keys. I have so many questions! For example, once you get to your car, how could you NOT NOTICE that the keys don’t work? What

Faraday got a huge pass when people should have been asking questions. All thanks to Tesla. Everyone who doubted Tesla didn’t want to look stupid by missing out on the next big thing; unfortunately this is the line of of reasoning that caused “those people” to be wrong in the first place. Tesla’s ambitions in the

I bet it’s because there’s no 3 year back order for the Performance version. If they can increase the take rate, it could lead to higher profit margins vs people opting for lower trims.

Crime might be decreasing, but worldwide, the economy over the last 7-8 years is way up, at least for the top earners. More worried wealthy people = more armored car sales.

So much easier than haggling over nonsense.

My “Even the Model 3" statement was to emphasize that Tesla’s entry model still beats the Jaguar for range, with the LR battery of course. And Tesla’s Supercharger system is the most comprehensive, well executed charging system currently available. Are you really arguing that CCS is superior to the Supercharger

Laughed when I read that. I didn’t read a single thing that led me to believe that the i-Pace is superior to either the Model S or X. Even the Model 3 has it beat for range (not even close), access to the Supercharger Network, self-driving capability, and it still costs less.

The butt hurt in the comment section is really nice. “OMG, they’re building a car in a TENT! I used to camp in a tent, and I hate camping!!!”

Is it really that hard? They couldn’t figure out a way to have different switches without costing millions? And so what if it did? There’s a solution to all these problems, including the one where people are selling their cars for way over MSRP. It starts with a “b” and ends with “uild more cars!!!!”

The fact that most modern cars run remarkably quietly is thought to be a factor as well, since there’s less obvious clues that a car is running than has been the case in the past.
