Craziest thing I’ve done in the snow... well, back in high school, my family and my girlfriends’s family were big, and REALLY conservative, so private space was at a premium. I was dropping her off after hanging out and we were chilling in my little truck in her driveway. Unfortunately that left us way too exposed, so

Your entire response was predicated on a position I didn’t take. A proper response to my statement would have been to provide evidence that the rate and severity of sexual assault in Hollywood is equal to the population at large.

Nice article. It’s good to see confirmation of things that most people with a modicum of common sense suspected. I mean who really thought Tata was going to “invest” $1 BILLION into Faraday? If you know anything about the Chinese, it was pitifully obvious this was a planted manipulation move.

Yes, sorry, I was a little fired up last night. I certainly don’t mean to discredit or diminish the severity of the issue. But this is just one of those situations where I wish “the industry” would just own it. Don’t make it about fixing America. They need to fix themselves first. Maybe try to lead by example for

Sorry, but you completely misread my statement. I never said it doesn’t happen - I said it doesn’t happen with that degree of impunity and frequency. And maybe I could have added more context to my prior statements: I’m not trying to minimize or dismiss the harassment or assaults that happen all over the country. It’s

If the worst Cosby or Weinstein did was make vague remarks or improper propositions, we probably would be having a different discussion right now. But what they did was so massively horrible and egregious, and the fact that they did it so openly, it’s insulting to hear people like Silverman and Jennifer Lawrence try

You’ve probably heard what’s happening in the news recently regarding sexual assault, especially in the entertainment industry and, to be clear, it’s not just Hollywood, it’s everywhere. This stuff happens in bakeries, too.

If you love your kids, keep them out of Hollywood.

Self-driving vehicles are probably better at not causing accidents than most humans and probably worse at avoiding them.

Let’s say, miracle of miracles, that FF was able to bring the car to market (I give it less than 1% chance). Who on god’s green earth would pay $150,000 for THIS?????

Relative had one of these for years. Quality was really not bad. Fuel economy was abysmal though. It’s really kind of a pointless vehicle.

That thing is awesome. Massively unattractive, but awesome.

What. is. that.

The example was used to illustrate how markets change, not to equate the automotive industry with the space industry.

You stated the world wide rocket industry is worth only 5-6 billion a year, with the implication that for Musk to invest in re-usable rockets was a questionable move due partially to the small size of the market. My point was that the reason it’s only 5-6 Billion a year is a result, in part, of high launch costs.

And the electric car market was next to zero before Tesla came along. Now it’s in the tens of billions and within the next ten years will probably be in the hundreds of billions.  Markets aren’t static.

Energy density is overrated and mostly irrelevant.

Haha, not sure about the others, but I replace my filter with every oil change. Out of at least a hundred oil changes I’ve done, that’s the only time the gasket has come off. I’m guessing either a weak gasket/filter bond, or it could be because I was living in an inclement climate with lots of snow/ice, and that

Every repair? JK.
