I don’t know how to define “underrated” band but I’d say Pavement is not it. And they’re probably my favorite band! They’re too cult-y — too purposefully not for everyone. I rate them correctly, and my girlfriend who hates them rates them correctly too. She’s definitely not hearing them wrong.
