I call bullshit. People have been review-bombing on Metacritic since day one and they haven’t stopped it yet. I’m sure they’ll implement the same moderation as pre-Musk Twitter, which was barely any at all.

After the same crowd got ultra-triggered by the fact that women can have some peach fuzz on their face and might not look like a barbie doll I’d have figured they already totally wrote this franchise off as woke, especially with Ashley’s involvement and all.

Metacritic’s review scores are fucking annoying in general because there’s always this desire to be the counter-current to whatever critics are saying. I see shit on there all the time like “10/10 — This movie wasn’t perfect but what did people expect????”

When it comes to actual review bomb efforts driven by places…

At lunch today (Madison, WI) the options were Walleye $21, Perch or Bluegill $18 or Cod (fried or [ew]baked)$16. Cod is hugely popular statewide as it’s far cheaper and you get a much larger portion vs the panfish.

Crab boil. Yes. Crawfish boil? Yes. Fish boil? Doesn’t sound good, but I’d give it a try.

For VI in particular the SNES version has a ton of translation errors. I think the GBA version is the definitive version. I dunno why the pixel remaster had to make some new questionable changes.

I’m enjoying Loop Hero but I’m still struggling to wrap my head around some of its mechanics, like the base building and some of the interactions between cards. When deck building there are some cards that I can’t find a good reason to include. Chill game, though.

Probably too little, too late to make this game an interesting single-player experience with depth and story, like the Guardians of the Galaxy game. To take all of the looter-shooter elements out of the game would probably ruin the whole thing (even moreso).
