This was my thought exactly. Like why is Captain Boomerang using a gun? Instead of…boomerangs?

What actually bothers me more about it than it being a looter-shooter (albeit I AM bothered by that because of the history these types of games has) is that it looks like all four characters practically play the same.
They tried to state how they were different but in the end all it looked like was watching four…
Let’s be real, Gamestop, with the way they treat their employees, is the real criminal. I mean the thieves are criminals too, they just haven’t damaged nearly as many lives.
We could pay employees more to keep stores properly staffed, or just hope someone is desperate enough to turn in a criminal acquantaince that bragged about having a bunch of PS5s. Wonderful choice there, Gamestop.
Yeah I’m not super bothered. I bought the digital version and was playing the same afternoon it dropped, that’s good enough for me. I’m just not the gamer that I used to be.
They fired a manager not too long ago for following theft protocol for this exact thing. Horrible company.
For someone who used to be a pretty big “physical copy only” stan back in the day, its amazing how little I care about it anymore. Digital is just so much more convenient. I only wait for sales, or do some pirating if its something I know I was never going to buy, but still, the physical collectors market is beyond…
I went to Best Buy and Target yesterday, and neither of them had even received any copies of it. I’m not chomping at the bit to get a hold of a copy, but I would eventually like one. Hopefully Nintendo will see the demand and ramp up the production.
Pretty crazy that people would pay $100 when you could just buy it for $40 digitally and eventually $40 physically when it restocks. FOMO is wild.
Scalpers are scum
Biggest turn-around in gaming history right here, god damn.
Damn mah’ brodas!
That’s why I leave competitive multiplayer games.
40k is insane!!
The chance of matching with at least 1 cheater seems high!
I read an article a while ago that Hello Games has a huge surge in sales every time they release a big content update, which also usually coincides with their 50% off sale. It’s a pretty small studio, so it must be enough for them to ‘keep the lights on’ at least.
Can someone explain to me how this game keeps getting cool updates for years when there is no way they are selling a lot of copies at this point? Whereas actual live service games die like 6 months later?
At least the ones who beat me do.
I’m guessing the first CoD game in the works will be on the Switch 2. As long as that system can have specs similar to a SnapDragon 8 Gen 1 and 12GB RAM, it should run beautifully.
I can't imagine CoD running well on a Nintendo console when it's already a crapshoot whether Nintendo games run well on their console.
Interesting.
This is to try to ensure that the acquisition gets approved, yeah?
