My bank doesn’t like Green Man, I typically go with CDKeys if I’m desperate to save a buck. That said, your snark is excessive considering we have to trust a key site to come through on these deals which doesn’t always go smoothly. If someone buys from Steam directly they’re out a few bucks but it’s a one stop shop.

I mean, those are better prices, but they’re not as much better as I might expect. Not “screw you”-worthy. Most of them are $4-5 less.

I’ve heard great things about Days Gone. Too bad I’ll never give John Garvin a dime.

Yeah, but I tried playing Fallout 1 when they gave 1 & 2 away on the Beth store to everyone who bought 76 and I just couldn’t do it. I don’t like isometrics or turn based combat, plus, it’s just very old and clunky. I pretty much only play FO3 or newer.

Better yet, the FTC should investigate Sony’s anti-competitive practices given the fact that Sony holds the dominant share of gaming software sales. Why is the market leader allowed to pay publishers and developers to withhold content from its competitors?

And what Sony still does? Fuck yes they should.

Reading the.. case filed. Im not sure the people are in the right head space. most of these are weak arguments. I believe they are filing simply to stop CoD from falling under MS’s control. Which again, weak argument.

It’s like if the head of Disney literally collected the six Infinity Stones and used them to wipe out half of all Marvel movies as a tax write-off.

In theory, they have to be paying some kind of residuals to actors, writers, directors, etc. But I can’t imagine its really that onerous of a cost.

I just don’t think the guy has any idea what he’s doing.

This article needed a round or two with an editor. Tell me more about the food. You barely mentioned the dinner.

I guess Sony have managed to keep under the radar with their bullcrap. Trying to aquire one of the biggest companies with the potential of blocking the biggest franchise for monster bucks is certainly poking the ol’ head above that radar line.

Both companies have had a history of paying 3rd parties to make their games platform exclusive, but Sony was especially aggressive about it over the last couple console generations, as well as paying 3rd parties to keep certain content off other platforms (PC included).

“Sony is trying to protect its dominance on the console,” Spencer said. “The way they grow is by making Xbox smaller.”

Oh, cool! Good thing I never got this mediocre game then!

It really isn’t though. That was $20 to someone who was hard up and didn’t have the funds.

It is so lame too. Did these dudes have dads around? I have 12 year old son, and I am teaching early about dating and women. Even if you have it, you don’t give women tens of thousands of dollars just because she is pretty.

I once gave a retro streamer $20 to help pay his cat’s vet bills. Pretty much the same thing.
