Got the facts of which case wrong? The only comment I made about the burning bed case was that it was interesting

While that is an interesting case, it is a slippery slope to go down.
It’s cool, you have no problem with a term that could be used to describe white supremacists as being used to describe all white people.
I listen very well, actually. However, I choose not to listen to people who attempt to hide behind the veil of their own self-imposed cognitive dissonance
Okay, awesome. Then (the school should) let the courts handle it and if it is deemed punishable under law then they will be punished under law for it.
First, nationally is not worldwide. Worldwide is globally.
I didn’t say anything about the other deaths, those are definitely mysterious.
So, the idea of black people being racist towards Asians is stupid?
social media AREN’T public spaces, though:
You’re an idiot if you cannot grasp the difference between public and private actions or the fact that social media outlets like facebook and instagram are private entities. Looky here, if you actually want to learn a thing or two about free speech and social media:
LOL. that’s because those things ARE HAPPENING ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.
UGH.
Good try, sport. I’ve condoned the kids actions (see where I called them racist, insensitive assholes) and I am not, nor have I once tried to justify their actions.
I highly recommend you read and understand the law: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/14pdf/13-983_7l48.pdf
Children are not employees of the school they attend.
Please do point out one place where I have justified it.
This story is about ONE racist, insensitive ass hole kid drawing a noose(s—adding an s to make it plural, because I do not know how many nooses were drawn) around (an)other student(s) neck on a private website is not publicly threatening someone.
Drawing a noose around a peer and posting it to a private website (Facebook is not a public website, nor public property) is not the same as taking a picture of someone, drawing a noose around their neck and then framing that picture and standing it on a public sidewalk, or other public space like a library or school.
Call me crazy, but one person being a fucking a racist, insensitive moron isn’t an outbreak of anything.
“The urban dictionary definition sounds like it’s mostly an insult to white supremacists, which, uh, does not count as racism, just cause “white” is in there.”
