They sold me with all the kill types popping up on the screen as you do them. That's even better than XP popping up per bullet a la Borderlands! Yes, please.

@DooDooSmellsWorse: He's not wrong I'm afraid, he was confirmed to not be in it in a Kotaku podcast they did a couple weeks ago. Resident Evil 3 was my least favorite in the series, but the Tyrant as a fighting game character makes so much sense I'm surprised they're not using him.

@hazelnut: Damn straight on those Power Stone characters. Jack and Gunrock would fit right in, along with Wangtang and Indian-Guy-Whose-Name-Escapes-Me.

@Paul_Is_Drunk: It would come across as another Indiana Jones, but seeing as that franchise is irreparably damaged, what's the harm in that? We need another character-driven IJ-style franchise to go to, and Uncharted is the best example of that going right now.

@dkl415: The same could be said about the first Battlestar Galactica series; that it's storyline was abysmal, and anything based on it would be equally terrible. As history shows, the new BSG greatly improved and expanded on that frail network to give us one of the best series of all time (in my opinion.)

@Chronixal: I played this at Pax East, then came home and immediately pre-ordered through Amazon (they were giving away coupons at the con). Totally can't wait, I played and watched the same track probably a dozen times, and every race went differently, and new stuff happened every time.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I just watched it three times, and every time I crack up when he chokes on the water at the end. Priceless.

@Mahale: Which do you mean? I don't remember off the top of my head any side scroller with a laser shooting Wolverine.

@The Monster King: That would be cool with me. English for English people and Japanese for everything else, sounds so simple. The only problem I have is when they have English actors that are clearly trying to actually pronounce all the syllables in a crazy move. Nobody needs to hear a clearly audible "Tatsumake

Lasers shooting out of Wolverine's claws, huh? Oh, you mean like the Fatal Claw move from MvC2? The one where Wolvie's in the air surrounded by a giant pulsating energy "X" in the air? The one that didn't make any frickin' sense at all? Way to catch that one, Marvel.

@shanrulez: You mean 'Kinetic Card'? Or are you just referring to the fact that it sounded like 'credit card'? Cuz I'd agree with you there. :)

Now that this has been officially announced, I wonder if Disney really would be willing to have a character or two get pummeled by the likes of the Hulk.

@warlock257: Right?? Lol but if this game made any sense it wouldn't be so much FUN!

@jasbir.singh: I never played Ico BECAUSE it seemed to be one long escort mission, so you might be right. Maybe I'll try it and see if it is, indeed, an exception to the rule.

I hated Dead Rising, but it had nothing to do with it being too "quirky" or "Japanese"...unless the unusable arrow was a "quirk", and the idea to make a game completely out of escort missions was "Japanese".

I don't understand the lack of explanation for the blackouts either, and that continues to be my biggest problem with the story of the game. If he had blackouts and ended up at the mall every time, fine. At his old house every time, ok. But a random street corner he had NO connection to? Holding origami he never

@HowardC: My God...I have a sudden desire, nay, NEED, to defeat Iron Man with Scrooge McDuck.

"If speed and deadly accuracy had children, I'd be their favorite."

@ShadowOdin of dubious snowiness: @Rear Admiral Meatwad: Real Admiral said my point exactly: how are they to know what we as individuals consider most important? For some, visuals are key; others couldn't care less. So what if they highlighted BAD TEXTURES AND JAGGIES, but half of us couldn't care less about that?

@kftgr: I agree, I don't understand his rancor over this piece. There was no misinformation or anything, just a fluff story about grandmas who bonded over video games. What's the harm in that? Maybe Mr. Crecente is just burned out and needs a vacation.
