Seconded, I think your work is head and shoulders above most other auto journalists. The article itself reminds me of years ago when I used to go to Barns & Noble to read the articles in Evo (when Harris was still just a writer there). And you took the photos, which Chevy should be paying you to use! Again, great work!

The key takeaway I’m getting from your post is that you watched the entire thing. Clearly still doing a better job than motorsports at the moment.

The idea that women oriented companies would want to sponsor a race team primarily viewed by men was flawed from the start.

I understand the gravity behind the situation, I think. But isn’t fielding an exclusively female team the definition of a gimmick?

This is an underrated comment.

Oh sure, but the world is a better place being blessed with my car’s v8 noises than ultra high frequency ev noises

Really not looking to start trouble, honestly curious: How is it legal to make your own work on copyrighted characters and sell them for personal gain? I know there are parody loopholes for copyrighted works, but does this somehow count?

Hmm... I’m kind of torn on this. The neighborhood where the building is is a lovely, quiet area, and I’d hate to see that destroyed by a bunch of tourists coming in. I’m also not too keen on the idea of essentially destroying part of a historic building to turn it into a tourist attraction.

I’m always amazed by the binary thought process that seems prevalent today - If you’re “this”, you cannot be “that”.

1. If you think restaurant regulars won’t notice a $1 increase, you clearly haven’t worked in a restaurant. And if you think a mom and pop Greek restaurant is serving 40,000 entrees per year, you’re delusional. The solution isn’t nearly as easy as you want it to be.

I will never encounter some of the folks on this site again, and I am very thankful for it.

Part of the beauty of capitalism is that if you fuck up, fall behind the times, or fail to innovate, you eventually cease to exist.

Co-worker has a kid around 10/11 if I’m not mistaken and they are now discussing gender topics in our BC public schools at that age. From what he told me, it’s beyond an acceptance talk, almost bordering on coercion because these are still kids.

Dude, I’m soaking up every moment. I know full well I could never have a Houston sports team as good as this one. Rockets 94-95 used to be the team but not anymore.  This era of Astros is a sight to behold.

It’s crazy people think this. My wife and I have been to Israel multiple times with evangelicals and have never once heard them bring up the end times (besides when we were at Tel Meggido, to reference the fact that we were standing in the place know as Armageddon).

I had some of his burgers on a carnival cruise and they were really fucking good.

You get one forward pass after recovering a football

I feel like you could’ve helped progress the process of not tying everything Osaka does back to that moment by not using the entire final paragraph of this article to tie Osaka’s actions in this unrelated match that didn’t even feature Williams back to that moment.

Republican here. Yes, his old shit was funny. And I feel it’s right to defend famous millionaires because it doesn’t matter what you’re worth, it matters if you are in the right. The problem here is that a person you idolize doesn’t agree with your world view. Political correctness is out of control and destroying
