The Point Lookout DLC for FO3 was far from "shat out." I found it to be highly enjoyable, with great atmosphere and a fairly interesting story. One mission in particular definitely fucked with my head a bit, bringing me back to the awesomeness that was The Shivering Isles from Oblivion.
Still not sure if it worked. It comes up at first, but disappears shortly thereafter.

Meh, it's only three bucks. I just bought it to humor my friends who have it and refuse to buy Minecraft, and I'm constantly pointing out it's vast inferiority while we play.
Geometry Wars 2 and Limbo are also highly recommended.

I feel your pain. I've expressed my love of this game to my friends on multiple occasions, yet they merely shove it off every time. They tried the demo, and their reasoning is that they think "the narrator's voice would get annoying." Talk about missing the point.

I know this might sound crazy, but…blow into the plug-in port on your controller. There might be dust or something inside there making it think that something is already plugged in. That was the problem mine was having.
