I absolutely agree. Duke really couldn't be less relevant these days, and it'd be very amusing to see your average modern-day citizen react to Duke's stupidly cheesy one-liners.

I'm not so sure it's reviewers being overly critical as much as it is long-time Duke fans being overly apologetic. That being said, if you're having fun with it then don't let the reviews get you down. I personally find it to be painfully boring and a complete waste of sixty hard-earned dollars :P

Seriously, just because you have a huge disposable income doesn't mean everyone else does.

Just the sad fact that people are still using the term fail as a noun. It's the most popular terrible meme on the internet, and the constant overuse of it drives me mad.

That is the worst comparison I have ever seen. Completely off base.

Top 5 Fails? Seriously?

Don't forget about HD-DVD!

I watched a good three hours of excellent commentary by David Jaffe, a few Double Fine guys, and a couple other developers on the Giant Bomb live show last night. It was all very interesting, and it's great to hear that Jaffe's new game is receiving plenty of high praise. He deserves it.

Pretty damn boring demo if I do say so myself. But I had no expectations for this game, and only got the code because of Borderlands GOTY. I would definitely not recommend this game to anyone. Mediocre to the core!

I was thinking the same thing. Unless they changed it from the way it was, this story has me thinking that Crecente didn't actually play either the first or second R6: Vegas :/

Vegas was chock-full of great maps. Such an underrated multiplayer game IMO.

Very funny!

This one is easily the funniest IMO. Great job.

That is actually Mr. Stewart from Deadly Premonition. But he does look like a Combine soldier.

Did you even read the article? He's basically talking about how he is beginning to grow tired of the same old multiplayer year after year due to them never really changing/significantly improving anything. The Call of Duty franchise is beginning to show it's age, yet they refuse to tweak the formula at all (my guess

Medal of Honor's single-player campaign wasn't developed by DICE. They only did the multiplayer.

Half Life 2 will be waaaaay better!

First thing I thought of as well.

Damn, we're in a tight spot.
