“I need to buy a new car that will help me get through the MN winter weather and help protect me from other crazy drivers out there.”
I rented a CX5 with push button start and without the brake pedal there were two steps, acc, which was the radio with no dash lights and then on with the dash lights but without starting the engine. Pressing the brake starts the engine.
My Corolla does that as well, it’s a great feature honestly.
There’s no way you’re flooring it non-stop lol. Is the thermostat working?
The 8mpg is probably because the car is using only gas mixed with no air, and then after the engine warms up it starts mixing it with more air and using less gas.
Is that really the acc or just the on before start? In all cars I’ve driven the acc mode just meant that the radio turns on, except VW where there wasn’t an acc mode, just on (with all the error lights) and start.
The 12v battery or the hybrid battery? If it’s the 12v I am really impressed, if it’s the hybrid battery I’m still pretty impressed if it manages to run on electric only, lol.
Because he slammed the door.
To be fair, this car is more equipped than the $22k top trim of that $15k Civic, and it costs less.
Not really. State troopers love to drive around with unmarked cars so people don’t slow down for them.
The 208? That’s still about the size of a Yaris, not even close to what I’d consider a midsize. The 308 is about the size of a Corolla or a Civic.
To be fair, a lot of cars overseas don’t need to press the clutch to start. Same with older cars. I usually do it just in case though.
What is up with people over there passing on the shoulder or going into merging lanes to cheat traffic? I’ve never seen so many cars just casually do that.
And they still don’t. It’s DRLs so why should the taillights turn on in the daytime?
This exactly. It’ll cover the payments easily, especially if it’s near a large city.
Actually, a lot of government run airlines fly into more remote cities that airlines don’t like to fly to.
Maybe new to him. In the video they show an early 2000s ES300
Now just think about the fact that anyone could’ve been sitting in their car idling, even one who wouldn’t mind taking advantage of lone female. Even I, as a male, when I’m drunk, I check the plate to see if it’s the right car.
For a new driver a car with modern safety technologies would be great though. It also helps having a crumple zone.
