Yeah the review reads like an A-.  Which is about right.

This album is fucking great.  I'm not exactly a huge fan of this band (relative to the random they inspire), but this might be my 2nd favorite album of theirs.

I'm an only child and my parents weren't cool and both worked and I moved around a lot so I didn't have many friends until I was 16 or so.

Things don't have to be intentional to register on the abuse scale.

Maybe most people had great fathers and my personal experiences and the experiences of many/most others I know are outliers.  But, to me, Don's most redeeming quality is that he loves his kids to the best of his ability, limited as it may be.

Why does introducing another gay character have to be "a thing"?  I think Bob Benson is a pretty interesting character with tons of back story we haven't even begun to flesh out.  He's likely one of the last (if not the last) new cast-member who will be with us until the end.  I'm interested to see how it all plays…
