Other than the color, how this does not look like every other transportation box CUV/SUV out there, I’ll never know so I don’t get how it’s ugly compared to the others. The purple at least is a color as opposed to the fifty shades of grey of just about everything else these days

Exactly...that’s why it got a NP from me as well

That was the first thing I thought of...thanks for not having me to search for the GIF

Back in 2003 my then 76 year old dad bought this generation Civic Si (his third) and even though I wasn’t a big fan (I was firmly a GTI man myself), that funky shifter coming out of the dash was awesome. Reminded me of old Alfa Romeo GTV’s and Spiders. The power was somewhat anemic for a ‘hot’ hatch...more of a mild

In the mid-year 1978 model year, Fiat refreshed the 131 and in the US sold it under a new name, Brava, with the refreshed exterior but with the old interior, and SuperBrava, which also added a new (and pretty damn nice for the price and time) interior to the mix.

Is it an automatic or the ‘as God intended’ manual?

Haas wins it for me but only because the number in the circle is fantastic.  I have hated these last 20 years where the number is barely visible.  Personally, they should all go back to the days of the gigantic numbers that you can actually see on a television screen.  And the sponsorship excuse is BS...cars starting

I had this all set to record and at the last minute I pulled the plug and cancelled. I’ve just been burned one too many times by NBC putting on this type of show with a strong premise and premiere only to devolve it quickly into a long string of ‘finding clues’ to the overall mystery that seemingly has nowhere to go

It has to be a manual and an actual car....not a CUV, SUV, truck, etc

Back in 1995, I bought a new red VW GTI VR6 soon after they were released. When I saw it on the dealer lot, I noticed two things off the bat that were not the same from the pics in the recent Car and Driver article. While mine had the same wheels, it had BBS center caps instead of VW ones. It also had small GTI badges
