The article very consistently says that the series is *filmed* and never once claims it was *finished*. And also, it’s a huge problem for people in certain fields when the projects they work on don’t get released because they don’t get credit. You need your name in the credits. 

As others have mentioned they won't get residuals, which sucks, but also the fact that the show isn't getting produced means that it won't do anything for their careers. The people who've already put their labour into this show have nothing to put on their resumes.

Colin Trevorrow's script is out there. You can read it, there's no need to guess. And yeah, it's slightly better than TROS, but it's still total shit. Really bad stuff.

Blomkamp's career is a real bummer. Sucks to see a guy peak with his first project and then get real bitter about it
