You know what. Gearbox, I kinda understand the hate. They deliberately misled people with marketing, pretending the game was better than it was, falsely calling stuff 'gameplay footage' and so on. It's less along the lines of bad game, more along the lines of anticonsumer in the same way that SimCity and Diablo were.

It's a matter of tastes. I don't care about fighters, jrpgs, MGS, only mildly about uncharted. But I do quite like the more unique experiences such as the Stanley Parable, Democracy 3, and Chivalry.

This all seems so expensive, though. I simply bought kitchen cabinets. about €40 per cabinet including door (two 30*60*70, one 50*35*70), a 265cm worksurface for about the same price. Voilá, a kickass spacious 2~3 person wide desk for pretty cheap. And yes, pretty darn sturdy too.
