It was just Tony's way of saying, I got you this vehicle, I can just as easily take it away if you keep pissing me off, all at once or piece by piece. I don't think it was ever meant as a veiled physical threat towards AJ physically.

There would be no way in hell Tony would listen to Sil in that situation, he would be busting at the seams to see what the hell was going on. I just loved Tony's ultimate reaction when he did see it. Just held his hands up, walked out, and I don't think he said a single word.

Some of these guys have so totally brought into the bullshit of Tony Soprano as irredeemable "sociopath" they see everything he does as the epitome of evil, yet when he hurts guys like Christopher or Johnny Sac they feel sorry for guys like that. Go figure.

It takes a lot of hard work to become a top level mobster, especially a capo, so its not fear of hard work, its an aversion to the constant drudgery of a hard work that barely pays the bills, and certainly doesn't afford the kind of lifestyle you crave and have gotten used to.

That's the way I read Phil's prison life too, he probably didn't participate in any homosexual encounters out of fear he'd reveal too much of himself. So he just jacked off in a sock or a tissue or whatever because he "wanted to love a woman".

When Tony gets a vision of the afterlife, then rejects it, we accept
that because, hey, who wouldn’t question something they saw in a coma?

Yep, same guy.

Yep, same guy.

He went to work the next day didn't he?

Angie Bonpensiero becomes a mob associate working with Benny and  Patsy and puts money out on the street, so probably not the best example you might come up with of "change".

I don't think Chase wanted us to give a shit about Vito getting killed, or even why. He made sure of that with the civilian's murder the previous episode. He also destroyed whatever legitimate sympathy Chris's death might have engendered at the end of Walk Like A Man. His point was these people are the way they are,

It's a matter of perspective. It could be either. If the back of Paulie's head is 12:00, then his left would be 3:00. To the perspective of the viewer, it would be our right. Chase might have just wanted to simplify to make sure some of us would "get it". I'm pretty sure Members Only guy approached and shot Tony from

I need to point something out from the last episode comments section. Somebody was telling me the cat couldn't represent Mikey Palmice because he was such a "minor" character (he was Junior's consigliere), and that the (male) cat had to be Adrianna, or according to somebody else, maybe Chris.

@avclub-1898a4d76532f237d9b5c0592dfe71a9:disqus David Chase liked using symbolism, so that could be what it meant, Tony Sopranos death being number 100 as a symbol of finality. And that's cool with me. I don't care anything about seeing a Sopranos movie. The way I see it, why tamper with something that is to as near
