This is the kind of goofy deck that can really only fit into Hearthstone, and one reason why I think the game is great. It’s not Magic: The Gathering in terms of Serious Gameplay, but it doesn’t need to be.

I mean that people get emotionally invested in the outcome of relationships because they want certain characters to be happy (or unhappy!) Obviously people can get invested in other aspects of a universe though.
I do not care about Harry Potter shipping at all and I realize you are just trying to start shit but you realize Ron and Hermione were best friends for six books, right?
Have you ever been emotionally invested when two of your friends start hooking up who you think are super cute together? It’s that, except people way cooler and more interesting than your IRL friends.
Shipping isn’t a prerequisite of being a fan, but it is a way of being a fan. Same as imagining what would happen if Picard and Q got trapped in the Labyrinth. It carries more emotional investment but it’s ultimately about creating secondary works and fleshing out the canon.
I straight lost my shit over the last episode of Korra. Squealing at 3AM in bed next to my sleeping girlfriend.
In Dwarf Fortress, losing is Fun! And you are guaranteed to have lots of Fun.
RimWorld is, objectively, much more approachable and fun. DF is more “fun” though. I actually like the insane complexity and weirdness but I can understand why others wouldn’t.
Isn’t StormForce Tornado the name of a tertiary G.I. Joe character?
Exactly the same. I got a little into Rimworld but it just wasn’t the same without all the bizarre complexity
I kind of want you to start a fortress and tell the epic story of the Last Bastion of Pleating and their struggle to keep the dwarf race alive
I don’t play fighting games, but my experience in League of Legends leads me to believe that tier lists are mostly a waste of time. Sometimes champions become truly broken when changes to the game or the release of a new champion who is poorly balanced leads to chaos. But mostly it’s just minor differences in power…
I dunno, I thought the ad was pretty effective. Not having commentary alongside the clips really drove home how exhilarating a lot of those moments were. They speak for themselves.
That’s unfortunate. But if you’re in college then going to parties is the way to go. Personally I hate parties; I’d look for opportunities for general socialization like clubs.
In fanfic we call characters like Link a “self-insert.” It’s not a compliment.
True, most places don’t have specifically singles bars. But there’s still bar context. Is the bar dim or well-lit? Is there no music, background music or loud music? Is the person alone or with friends? Are they at the bar or at a table/booth?
Weight is not mass. The Pokemon might mass almost a metric ton but have almost no apparren weight, if it is exerting a force upward against gravity. Given that it can float, that’s obviously what’s happening. Kilograms are a measure of mass; the measure of weight in metric is the Newton.
No, I thought the length and focus of the original was perfect. I have no interest in seeing someone strain to fill 8-10 hours with the same story.
Cleaning is important. Tidying is a matter of taste. I try very hard to be consistent in washing my dishes, cleaning the bathroom, keeping my clothes a sheets clean. But I refuse to feel bad for leaving my shit strewn everywhere because I just don’t care. You do, and more power to you.
Do you think pairing her with Ana would be enough aoe and single target healing for a team? Because their ults seem like a monster combo for pushing points
