Oh Christ I can totally picture that happening. And they just wear either regular clothes or a very basic costume until the last episode of the season before getting to suit up for about one scene.

There aren’t a lot of shows where the weakest episode is still better TV than almost anything else on contemporaneously but this show pulled it off. Carrie Coon is amazing and this for me is the best thing Eccleston has ever done. The finale wrecked me & I still think about it often.

Can’t wait. Piranisi was a uniquely intriguing book and Susanna Clarke is an outstanding writer (though not very prolific). Glad that they are going with something like stop-motion rather than live-action. It *could* be done live action, but this feels like the right choice.
