For those not cool enough to have too much theme park knowledge. The original ride in 1983 was a delightful, well loved dark ride featuring Figment and his friend the Dreamfinder. The later replaced it with the awful ride that is there now that features toilets on ceilings, Eric Idle and a shitty CGI Figment

I was lucky enough to go to America as a child and go to Disney World. Epcot was so, so exciting. I’d never seen anything like it before and its retro-futuristic thing just hit 9-year-old me perfectly.

I mean, it takes a lot of actual work and musicianship to put together electronic music. But people did used to lose their heads complaining about edm not being “real music.” You still do, apparently.

The unmitigated nerve of some people, not being attractive to you, specifically. I guess she’ll just have to comfort herself with her international success and her great fortune.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh blow it out your woodwind.

He was giving the public insight into his process, which is a successful one, because it produces a great performance. Is he supposed to pretend like he just shows up on set and recites the lines and clocks out? It’s one thing when “method acting” is used as an excuse for bratty and abusive behavior on set, or when it

That New Yorker profile is a hack job. Strong’s performance as Kendall is brilliant, one of the most layered performances on TV, a case study in making the audience sympathize with an unlikeable character. Comedy is drama in disguise. Succession would collapse if Strong played Kendall as an SNL impersonation of Donald

A lot of people wouldn’t have a sense of humor about an outsider coming in, gathering negative quotes about them while pretending to be interested in what they were doing, and painting their working style in a negative fashion. People spend a good portion of their lives in their careers and many want that time to be

No one’s ever really the same after they play Hercules.

Time for downer facts!

Lizzo is the ONLY person who could pull off declaring, “Bitch, I just sucked a 200-year-old glass dick live on stage!” without it being a “self-diss.”

Take a drink every time Simon Pegg calls her “Lassie”. You will not survive.

Honestly, Jaylah was what made Beyond for me. Sofia Boutella’s character brought a lot of fun energy to the film and she’s been pretty solid in everything I’ve seen her in.

Beyond was better than Into Darkness, but that’s a pretty low bar.

We can argue specific rankings, but the Dominik thing is as good excuse as any to provide a retrospective on Monroe’s actual work. When people like him say “Does anyone watch Marilyn Monroe movies?”, someone needs to stand up and reply, “Yes, and here are the ones worth watching”.

I am a fan of the shows on P+, but I nevertheless hope another one of these movies happens also.

I think Beyond was my favorite just because it didn’t actively piss me off like st’09 or st:Id did. I like the cast though. Obviously, anton yelchin’s death was a tragedy and I hope they don’t recast. I definitely don’t need another movie though I would probably watch it if they made one.

I’ll say this for Beyond, at least they told an original story and resisted the urge to make it another remake, like Into Darkness did with Wrath of Khan. I was imagining Zachary Quinto mind-melding with a whale.

She pushed for her good friend Ella Fitzgerald not to be discriminated against by the Copacabana.

The Misfits has such a great collection of actors. Gable & Clift couldn’t be more different in technique, and Eli Wallach becomes a character as well as anyone. But Marilyn’s freak-out scene in the middle of nowhere is a master class in performance. The role was written for her by the one writer who knew her better
