I think we needed maybe one more episode’s worth to really let this breathe—it is a brisk 90-minutes, then the whole point of the show’s namesake is decided (or denied) in the last 5-minutes.

My main problem is that the kids would have been educated in the finest schools, yet speak and do things on the contrary.
