If any of it made sense, it wouldn’t be a cult.

That video of the VT lacrosse team...they’re screaming it out so loud and joyfully like it pained them to not be able to say it and once they got their opportunity, they just had to scream it.

The complete list of times when it’s appropriate for a white person to use the N-Word:

Why do white people want to say that word so bad? I’m black, and when I hear my friends from other cultures refer to each other as [insert racial slur of choice here] I have never thought to myself, “Oh, well they said it so I guess I’ll just go around saying it now then”.

I’m still stunned at the takes I’ve read re: this on Deadspin. A shocking (I guess I shouldn’t be shocked) number of people saying it’s fine to sing ‘nigga’ or ‘nigger’, if it so happens to be in some song they listen to. It’s almost as if many have been looking for and finally found a ‘workaround’ to be able to say

...so I see what you’re saying but can I say the N-word if-

Yes, I can confirm or deny this.

Unions are the only way to save the middle class. Good for you guys and best of luck.

But the word isn’t in the actual lyrics so he just said it apropos of nothing

“If white people can’t use a word then nobody can.”

I wonder if Americans have some sort of condition where they must say the words “Free Speech” every 30 minutes or so? That is the only reason I can think of why it literally shows up in every discussion, no matter how irrelevant it is.

Free speech does not protect one from the repercussions of reckless or ill-considered speech. “Allowed to” (yes, of course) does not mean “free from judgment.” Ad-libbing the n-word to a public audience is a stupid, context-deaf action.

Free speech doesn’t enter into it one way or another. No part of this story involves the Government trying to abridge the first amendment rights of a citizen.

“Free speech means that, in addition to the government not being able to censor or arrest me for my speech — i’m immune from criticism and consequences!”

Does anyone else’s skin crawl anytime they see dudes refer to women as females? Just seems creepy and tacky as fuck.

This, right here: I guarantee all these guys are the same ones that will complain about how women are not interested in them, and how they only pay attention to assholes. Well, they’re all being assholes now: let’s see how long that works out for them.

God, these insecure gamer dudes trying to gatekeep are just the worst.

Damn, I would have killed to have so many girls interested in mainstream gaming when I was in high school. All these boys are lacking vision: a shared interest is an unbeatable icebreaker. Dumbasses.

Toxic Masculinity so fragile dudes can’t handle girls playing the same game as them.

“Real players are on console” is clearly not as sad as the generally sexist arguments, but it’s doing its best to compete.
