It's not a terrible idea. I've done it a number of times and it's a well known practice within the Rotary engine community. We also run water injection systems, though that's injecting a fine mist of water vapor. Feel free to look it up yourself instead of speaking on assumption.

Actually, you can run water though an engine to clean it. Obviously not using it to "flush oil gunk" between oil changes, but water can be fed into the combustion area to steam clean the motor and remove deposits/buildup. http://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/fd3s-steam-clean-thread-949720/

I've actually been in that car before.

I saw this car at the "Festival of Speed" in Miami a few months ago. Truth be told, not the best "wrap" job I've seen...

When Mazda stopped producing 13B rotary engines in 2012.

I could be wrong here, but I believe your title is incorrect. If they found "organic matter" on Venus, it would mean they found material from dead alien life. I'm fairly certain that's not the discovery. Organic matter is defined as: "coming from a once-living organism". I believe you're title should read, "organic

We bought a 2013 CX-5 Grand Touring to be the daily. Also have a 1993 RX-7 Touring in the garage, so some Mazda loyalty over here...

I live in Sarasota. Truthfully we have a huge homeless problem. There are shelters, there are services...but there are a lot of homeless with substance abuse issues that just "camp out" downtown. They're also hostile, bathe in the street, scream at passers-by, and dump garbage everywhere.

THX 1138 + 13th Floor + Dark City = Toyota Commercial?

I've seen this happen in person, but with an OEM, BMW M3 (e36) rim. The car had never been in an accident, and the wheel had never been curbed. I was driving in front of my brother when his car suddenly jerked to the side and he pulled off the road. He didn't hit anything - the wheel just broke while driving, however

I've bought 2 cars online in the past, both times the purchase was a 3rd-generation Mazda RX-7. Both times the purchase was though eBay, and the cars were bought sight-unseen. For one, I put down a deposit and flew across country to drive it home, the other was paid though an escrow service and the car was transported

Top Gear American tries too hard. Epic failure.

I flush-mounted an HTC Evo View 4G into my '93 Rx-7's dash... (work in progress pic)

What's the point? How is anyone going to enjoy "traveling" with that many redundant devices? I thought the point of technology was to consolidate, innovate. Why burden yourself with that many devices when you can easily get away with one handheld, one notebook?

An Inconvenient Truth: Biofuels Have a Carbon Footprint

Funny you should post this today, I'm out of town this weekend but I set up a 2 cameras to keep an eye on my cats while I'm gone. I set them up before I left yesterday morning in about 5 minutes.

NBD.

I just spent last weekend tearing down my 13B-REW for a rebuild. Bad timing to need a new short-block. :(
