@torrencj002: OMGWTF Ripley ducttaped plse rfl n flmr 2gtr LULZ!

@Twik63: Unless said plastic encasement is filled with Freon. It's a crazy idea, but it might... just... work...

@xDaRkRaDx: Not to mention the BSG talent. And yeah, got the pun.

Wow, just when I thought that gold couldn't get any tackier this arrives. No doubt Argos will stock this in the UK, since their whole reason for existence is to sell tasteless gold items to chavs.

@NightMystic: ZunePass music can't be played on an iPod, but the 10 songs per month you decide to keep are generally mp3s and they can be played on an iPod. I know MS is trying to keep Zune as its own little ecosystem, but I think they would be smart to let people get a ZunePass that they can use with other devices.

@BigAeroMan: Good work, brother. Does that mean you'll be changing your handle to WeeAeroMan sometime soon? ;p

@MacBandit: Using a Taser on a rampaging madman? You, sir, are sick. If recent history has taught us anything, it's that the only viable targets for Tasering are:

@@prixdc: Pfft, stashing stuff is for losers. If you were a real Black Friday pro you'd find a way to stash YOURSELF somewhere in the store on Wednesday. When they open the doors, you simply drop from the rafter you were clinging to Sam Fisher style. Almost nobody will question why you're wearing a black Nomex suit.

So Aol lays off a third of its staff to save money, then most likely pays some PR company a crazy amount of money to come up with this "rebranding" in an effort to save the company. Seems like the management are still trying to take the company in two different directions at once. At least this might make them fail

@ForestFire0: You never played Splinter Cell, did you? Try hacking a computer when Sam Fisher is hanging from a rafter directly above it.

I still swear by the cold cure I inadvertently discovered whilst an undergrad at the University of Edinburgh. Whisky and the hottest curry you can stomach. Whisky knocks you out and kills any nasty gribblies at the back of your throat. Hot curry spikes your fever and kills everything else. Plus it's much more

@williamk: Not true. I upgraded my three year old Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes) twice, first from WM5 to WM6, then again to WM6.1. At the time I bought it, it was the best phone on the market, and the upgrades have kept it at least functional if sometimes frustrating.

@GitEmSteveDave: WalkinOnSunshine: I was wondering that myself. My crusty old laptop has been struggling with Firefox lately.

Hmm, I'll definitely use this for Gmail. I'm a bit worried about Reader though - it seems like whenever I leave that open in a tab for more than a few hours, Firefox ends up using over a gig of physical memory and 50-80 of my CPU time. If I close the tab, Firefox behaves. I don't have the problem with any other

I add chocolate whey protein powder and a glob of all-natural peanut butter to my oatmeal. Good carbs, healthy fat and great protein = omnomnomnom

GIMP

@Mikebrown: You beat me to it. I was thinking exactly the same thing.

I did notice a drop with my old Hotmail account, but with my Gmail it's business as usual. Which is to say that a two-thirds reduction of zero is still zero.

I use my data plan all the time, mostly for Google Maps. I do use the internet too when I need it or if I'm really bored. A couple of years ago I couldn't imaging paying forty bucks a month for unlimited data and 1500 texts, now I can't imagine not doing so. I guess I don't use my phone as a phone any more, it's far

I'd like to contribute something smart and witty, but all my brain comes up with is GIMMEGIMMEGIMMEGIMMEGIMME.
