I think the drawn line is “intent and/or effect of doing harm.”

“They want us to accept their beliefs and their ways. But they won’t accept our beliefs and our ways.”

$80NZ comes out to about $50USD? For what, 3 FOBs? Please tell me this involves additional story content, new weapons, or new/bigger locations to explore. Otherwise, count me out. This is kinda silly.

“Don’t make them feel guilty.”

Mine were pretty good about this and other issues. But I also had the benefit of being in schools around Ft. Hood, so the teachers there were often from all over the US and less likely to do some podunk shit like mask over negative parts in US history.

History is like a relationship with a spouse - you wanna know

...that their grandchildren might be a hated minority in their own country.

You’re right about improvements in armor tech. Nanofibers, graphene, etc., offer some possibilities in that sense. The thing about anything military-procurement is that it suffers from dragged-feet innovation. Sure, they could fund improved armor research, but why do it when tooling (and therefore, funding) already

Maybe, but the HMMWV would almost need to be a whole new beast to fit that requirement.

That’s probably what’ll happen. Even the DOD can’t come up with the money to insta-switch the various HMMWVs for the JTLVs. The vendor probably couldn’t do it either. It’ll likely phase on the HMMWVs over time (as they hit wear and tear) and as production costs likely lower. My bet is that the vendor will license out

I think he ticked it a bit too far to expect a sudden grasp of the story, maybe by a notch or two. If he’s patient, they’ll get there. The audience is still just getting through the previous game or two, so it’ll take a bit.

That’s my thoughts, too. If your audience can’t piece together the narrative, have you effectively communicated it? While the content of the narrative might be fantastic, it doesn’t really matter if it’s not put out to the audience in a way they can access it.

On the real though, diamonds are bullshit. Here’s this rock you’re supposed to be buying because idk, marketing and “tradition” that we can’t really trace back anywhere.

It’s this weird fixation on short-term gains and this reluctance to understand that lots of what we do, see, and interact with everyday is interconnected.

“Persecution.”

Religion is like a dick. As the proud owner of one, I’m glad I have it. Mrs. Cap and I have a grand ol’ time with it. It’s a part of our daily lives. It’s not something I discuss much in public. But most importantly, I don’t go forcing it on people.

Because universal healthcare is socialism, apparently. But considering that they think abstinence-only sex education isn’t the Maginot Line of birth control, it’s not like they’d get it.

Too bad logic doesn’t work here. They’re really intent on saying that any clump of cells is a “person.” Then again, many of their ilk probably think a corporation is also a “person” so...

I try not to do pre-order/purchases on games period. It’s all for the same reason - QC.

That’s the only not-fuck-this-guy-with-a-spear explanation as to why he made those comments in that meeting.

Meanwhile, there’s always the stack of Sonic games no one wanted.
