They even said they wouldn’t let him and now they will. It’s 2020 and everybody is contradicting things they literally said before
I especially liked the condemnation of “both sides” arguments, while making a both sides argument
That’s not how Directors’ Cuts work- If his cut was completed, then there’d be no need for reshoots. That’s the point. This isn’t a scenario about the ‘process of filmmaking.’ Because the filmmaking already happened. The movie already exists. Directors Cuts are about the process of editing. It’s not like Ridley Scott…
Cool won't vote for Obama, anyways fuck Trump and let's try to vote him out.
also love that ben affleck isn’t batman anymore but there’s gonna be two movies* coming out where he’s still batman.
this shit is gonna cost an extra 100 million dollars and drive 100,000 subscribers, maybe.
What a perfect reposted comment.
I’m finding this whole thing more and more interesting. On its face, “Director/studio re-edits movie” isn’t even news. But there’s a lot of resources being sunk into this project, all for a movie that’s going to be released directly to a streaming platform.
Doing reshoots for a director’s cut is just cheating.
Batman v. Superman (a movie about Batman and Superman) was outgrossed by The Secret Life of Pets (a movie about “What if Woody and Buzz were both dogs but they did all the same stuff?”)
I think about that all the time.
It will be nearly impossible to tell how well it does since it’s on a streaming platform. My feeling is that HBO Max is paying for the visibility more than anything else - it will be one of their most talked-about entries, even if comparatively few people end up watching it.
I hope it’s more scenes where Cyborg is having a conflict with his father or talking about having a conflict with his father or being sad because his father made him a cyborg to save his life and he’s conflicted.
Yeah but the cynical take on that is the Justice League founding members were not very diverse so when they rebooted it in 2012 they wanted to add some diversity because they knew any movie version would most likely be based on the rebooted team. Combine that with Green Lantern being deemed box office poison and you…

They sure are throwing a lot more time and money at something that, objectively, not many people are going to watch. I'm starting to think that the entertainment industry might not be run by the most competent people.
They’re conservatively already spending the entire cost of a whole new mid-budget comedy to release a four-hour version of a film no liked the first time. That’s nuts. And remember, they’re sinking this into the “vision” of a guy who, with two of the most recognizable superhero properties in history, managed to get…
I whine about all those shows. It’s my life blood.
Momoa reiterated his support for Fisher, saying the young actor was “MAH MAN!” He followed this by letting out a long “WOOOOOH!” and then throwing an axe at something.
