There were aspects of Trevorrow’s alleged ending I really didn’t care for, but I’d have preferred a film that tried over what we got.

Can’t imagine what it’s like getting a young kid to wear a mask, glad to hear the heroes in the video (hopefully) helped!

Ryu here: former martial arts instructor, current stunt man. I’m always ready to flip or kick, opportunities everywhere at every con! <3

Is this any dumber than the B-wing? Or Boba Fett’s ship?  Or that skid-speeder monstrosity in TLJ? Or...

Yo - Iron Fist from above here - I had planned my outfit for London Comic Con, where I was hoping to do some short routines around the lobby (which is generally not too crowded!)

They’re Skeksis from The Dark Crystal :)

What were all those creepy bird skull people from. There were...a lot of them.

I decided to make this Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan themed facemask. Still have to add the cloth liner.

Thank you all! Watched with the 3 year old and appreciated the extra mask normalization/inspiration.

Ken and Rocky were classmates at Forklift Murder School. Ken might have given up the practice, but he could backslide at any given moment.

How dare you insult my knowledge of ancient dentistry!

I believe I read this just the other day — are you thinking of the High School U.S.A. series? Because that was 1982 — and MST3K started in the late 80's. Given that he was born in 1960, Joel would have lived most of his 20's in the meantime. He may well have had a very different perspective.

Josh Gad must have some serious dirt on the major players in the industry, because blackmail is the only way I can reckon that he keeps getting these opportunities.

Why is there always Josh Gad???

Too bad it was never as successful as Beavis and Butthead because those two shows would be a good back to back combination on Comedy Central. They can even have crossovers.

True but put yourself in Joel’s shoes at the beginning. It’s the late 80s, you are a struggling actor and comedian in a hard industry,  you get a chance to do a silly local late night show and you just figure it’s a paycheck for a few weeks. Maybe a couple years if someone actually watches(or at least passes out with

“It is July 28th, 2020. I am in Los Angeles. I watch Emmy nominations being announced by a group of actors who are each in separate locations due to a worldwide pandemic. A television series depicting my life is nominated in every category, even in ones for which it does not qualify. The announcers state that this is

To me this seems like the right way to do MST3K in 2020. Like a rock band that was really famous 35 years ago playing their big hits at a county fair. Like Loverboy.

The history of MST3K should be the example in a book called “How NOT to handle rights and permissions.”
