well I think he meant to equivocate the reading of online news or a specific website as the newspaper, not the smart phone itself. You have some good points, but now that I think of it, there's some good scenes in movies where someone is reading a paper ignoring someone, and the other person has to snatch it from them

they should really make "Obits" its own feature, right?

Who's the Beef? or Whom's the Beef?

oh and speaking of fake news, Popstar's parody of TMZ with Will Arnett, Eric Andre, Mike Birbiglia, & Chelsea Peretti was great.

I liked Popstar but I totally understand hating Samberg. I like his parody songs w the Lonely Island moreso than his young Sandler-esque dumbness. I think the celebrity cameos were better utilized in Popstar than seeing Niell Degrasse Tyson, Anderson Cooper, CNN, ESPN, and other news people in Batman Vs Superman. DC

I agree. It should be about the QUALITY of the media that is being interacted with, not how much. I also hate the idea of "consuming" media. Did we just consume this damn article? Are we vampires? Did I just create a new franchise about media consuming vampires?

I finally got around to the trainwreck that is Batman Vs Superman (I hate the singular "V.") and I could not believe how damn long it was. I didn't "spend" any time with it. That movie drained those 3 hours from me. but anyway, I saw PopStar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and it was a better satire of current pop culture

it would be great to see a biography of one of the creator of one of most popular video games, instead of another Battleship or some shit. But this is humanity we're talking about, there's very little hope.

yeah, at first I thought the whole show was corny in season but it grew on me. Season 1 set up the connection to Hydra, ssn 2 set up the Inhumans, now Hydra and the Inhumans are coming together, so there is some interesting plots & progress, even though at a network syndication pace.

Benedict's name is not so much ridiculous, as it is ridiculously British. I honestly could see someone named Lance Hunter playing a character named Nick Blood moreso than vice versa.

wow, I agree with most of these bullet points. I was liking this episode pretty much, forgiving a lot out of Marvel/MCU fandom & general curiosity of the larger storyline, but the ending made me confused & annoyed. I don't necessarily agree that 90% the AV Club hates what I like & likes what I hate, but it seems here,

Ahem, Ass pennies have been around since the 90s sir.

so many characters on Orphan Black seem like they can have a spinoff. Helena in the Yukon, growling with animal fur on her… S. and her band of IRA hooligans… Alison's Desperate Housewives town… anyway I've enjoyed these 4 seasons so far.

yeah it's always better than abrupt, "oh well I guess that's it"

It's no Breaking Bad, but even that ended after 5 (ish) seasons.
