well I think he meant to equivocate the reading of online news or a specific website as the newspaper, not the smart phone itself. You have some good points, but now that I think of it, there's some good scenes in movies where someone is reading a paper ignoring someone, and the other person has to snatch it from them…

I agree. It should be about the QUALITY of the media that is being interacted with, not how much. I also hate the idea of "consuming" media. Did we just consume this damn article? Are we vampires? Did I just create a new franchise about media consuming vampires?

I finally got around to the trainwreck that is Batman Vs Superman (I hate the singular "V.") and I could not believe how damn long it was. I didn't "spend" any time with it. yeah, at first I thought the whole show was corny in season but it grew on me. Season 1 set up the connection to Hydra, ssn 2 set up the Inhumans, now Hydra and the Inhumans are coming together, so there is some interesting plots & progress, even though at a network syndication pace.
