Then games need to go up in price. The $50-60 pricing model has not kept up with inflation. At all. It’s either get this game with some minor microtransactions, or we will increasingly not see these games much at all.

I fully support the message about harassment ... the microtransaction apologism, not so much. After 10 years of increasingly predatory monetization the “you don’t understand the videogame industry”and “it’s just cosmetics” excuses are hollow.

Given that it seems the statement was borne out of frustration, it really feels as though Razer’s response was disproportionate...
