I’ve always wondered about this. I’d always thought that they would have people do QA on a variety of systems, but I can definitely see someone deciding to half ass it and use the same configuration for all of the testing.

I’ve been pre-ordering the day before games are released on Steam. I find that this works well because there are usually people who have released gameplay footage and often reviews by then and I still get to scoop up whatever pre-order bonus is on offer.

I think this is the most likely reason as you can see that they block the name of their own company as well and many variations, even though they obviously own their own trademark.

Yeah I have a 560M (mobile GPU) and it runs just fine on my laptop at base settings. I was expecting to have problems because recent games like Far Cry have been too much for a 560M.
