I inherited a giant box of close to 2000 1ml/1cc diabetic syringes with needles last year. I didn’t want to throw them out because they were sterile, and the packaging was never opened. I tried to donate them to any needle exchange in Seattle I could find. I called. And called, and was given phone numbers for peoples

To be honest, as a gay trans guy? White straight people get a side eye from me on voting unless they give me some sign they aren’t nuts these days.

I was reading it was black voters, women in particular that everyone can thank for coming out in droves for this.

I think Captain Arndt the douchebag that threw the temper tandtrum got two days suspension without pay for behavior unbecoming an officer, while Captain Weber the gal running the training was suspended because of this and some drinking/having beer in her police cruiser form six months earlier.

Nah. I wake up around 5-6 am in the morning. (That’s sleeping in for me, with my current job.) Then I cook up some stuffing, let it warm and have the flavors melt together. Then I do everything else. We have Thanksgiving for breakfast, by around 9-10am.

Onion juice will emphatically not raise your testosterone levels. OMG.

Best way? Wrap them in a foil pouch, and let them sit in the warm oven. They come out as if fresh backed. If you made a mistake and bought them too early, and they are a little stale? Just brush then with water, and do this. They will still feel like fresh backed rolls.

I was a nurse for about ten years, and no matter where I worked, it was feast or famine. Some places did it better, but family members that live in facility do know that the only time they get seen is the holidays. I imagine the same can be said for any charity. The real heroes are the ones that will volunteer without

I’m 46, and we came of age with the specter of HIV and the AIDs scare. Condoms were a big deal. Folks that came of age after both of us, didn’t get the benefit of that same kind of sex ed we did.

Can I put forth my experiences when I first became a nurse, and had to work in a long term care unit. This is better known as an old folks home.

I love having them. I understand they are usually wildly inaccurate, but it gives me a nice rule of thumb. If I want fried mac’n’cheese, no calorie count is going to stop me. However, on the regular, I prefer to know in general what I am eating, and not get one of those “I thought that was healthy” moments when I

That looks amazing, but I don’t think it will fix my Comcast monopoly problem.

Okay, I get why a young girl would masquerade as a man to get taken seriously. I do not get abusing other women under this guise. “Not knowing how to get out of the lie” does not mean you have to harass and demean other people.

I cook up a ham. I like to get a nice pricey spiral cut honey ham, and then the leftovers have more possibilities for me.

Open concept only works if you are cool with everybodies noise levels. In my home, we can’t do it. My husband is half deaf, and I need those walls between the living room and everywhere else or I have to listen to his Judge Judy obsession on high volume 24/7 because the man only sleeps 4-6 hours a night.

How are you getting only 4-5 hours a day? Solar works as long as it gets sun.

I think as a precedent we can look at the death penalty. In theory, I am very for the death penalty, but when you look at how it’s carried out, it disproportionately effects men of color by a large margin. When they used to have the death penalty for rape, it almost universally was applied to black men with white

If I recall some of these convictions don’t work out like we think. We have teens that are getting convicted of having a sexually active relationship. I remember seeing something that pointed out that black young men were disproportionately convicted when they dated white young women. Also, there was a case of a woman

Back when I was 16, I was living on my own, so I went to trick or treat at the local college area. I got a lot more than candy, and to be fair, some of those kids knew me from around the area, and gave me actual food, which I needed. It was really heartwarming to me, that even these college kids were all really kind.

We never get Trick or Treaters ever anymore. I live in a big apartment building, and put out a giant bucket of candy, too. Over the years, there have been less and less.
