You know, that’s one of those games I’ve been meaning to check out for like years now but I always forget about it and never actually get around to it (and because I’ve wanted to actually play it I avoid looking too deeply into it as to not spoil anything lol), so I can’t actually comment on that...but maybe?

The only way I could see a Breaking Bad game working and not just being like, pure dumpster fire bad is if it were a primarily narrative Telltale style game.

When they first came up with Destiny power levels was a cool idea, there weren’t really many shooters with levels so the idea of like, combining a traditional RPG aspect with an FPS was novel.

It’s still annoying to introduce a patrol zone (because let’s be real, that’s all it is: a basic patrol zone with unique public events) that you’re underleveled for by default, and will be until you can boost your level high enough with the artifact since it’s above even the current pinnacle cap.

I mean, you probably would too if half your (current) professional career was just writing about that one game lol.

Clearly you’re not familiar with Paul Tassi over at Forbes lol.

It’s basically Spider-Man, only with large naked monsters

Now I kind of want to hear your ghost just go “aye yi yi yi yi yi” every time a boss pops up.

I mean, this IS the same company that basically gave the world Ferris Bueller sequel blue balls for what turned out to be a minivan commercial, soooo...

Eh, I burnt out on day 1.

The number of ads doesn’t matter, it’s how many people are actually seeing those ads, and it’s clear that readership is WAY down.

I’d like to think that it’s not even an issue of money, he just knows that the glory days are LONG gone and doesn’t have any desire to hop on a ship that’s been sinking for quite a while now lol.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that, Activision Blizzard is hardly any more greedy than EA and even EA is too scared to commit to something like that.

Why on Earth would you want to do that to Schrier?

I’m guessing they’re about a week away from Buzzfeed style quizzes:

To all of those wondering exactly what “damage control” Blizzard is doing since this article mentions literally NOTHING about it despite being the headline:

Excessive foreshadowing and build up are literally (lol, get it?) the antithesis of a plot twist though, since...you know, that’s kind of the entire point of the “twist”.

That applies to one service.

It’s weird how comparatively unregulated it continues to be despite being no different than anything else.

It’s interesting to see how absolutely ABYSMAL the numbers actually are (and how there’s no context given here lol).
