Personally I liked Origins a lot more than the newer ones.

He’s grown to become one of the more entertaining characters. 

Use ublock to delete the divs that normally hold the ads but aren’t getting taken care of too. (note: ublock was up to 372 by the time I hit publish lol).

So I decided to actually check it out and loaded up a slideshow article...in another browser free of any extensions and userscripts since, you know, it’s not 1995 and I’ve been using adblockers for nearly 20 years now lol.

Except slideshows are actually single pages, so those clicks don’t actually do anything as far as ads/user metrics/etc. go, which means it’s HIGHLY unlikely that anyone is mandating them since there’s no actual benefit to doing so.

Ironically this looks exactly the same as their slideshow articles look once you fix them lol.

Based on EG7's financial reports even with the current growth Daybreak has had (relative to itself, and during a year when basically everyone in the industry saw growth thanks to covid), with the revenue they currently bring in it’d be nearly 15 years before they even worked off their own purchase price...of course…

Serious question: How the hell does Daybreak still exist?

Yeah, because traditionally the law has stopped sooooo many executives and corporations from doing things they aren’t allowed to do lol.

Yeah, I’m sure that 15 second sound bite in a bunch of 90's and 00's movies is really winning over scores of people who live off of youtube and TikTok lol.

The problem with that episode is that it was just so out of place and unnecessary.

I think the big problem most people (that have a problem with it) have is that they used to be like 13 playing 12, and now they’re like 20 playing 14.
