Huh, I have a good friend that drives a Boxster. Partly because I drove a Boxster and got him hooked on it. Turns out, we both have friends, so your claim seems to not be valid.

I hope you aren’t referencing some weak ass, pseudo-science BS that is mentioned in this article:
Did anyone say it was a pollutant? It’s a greenhouse gas. Science!
Yeah, I’ll jump on. I was about to post the same thing. Some designer had some free time on his hands when they asked him to “camouflage” it.
The first MR2 suggestion was way too far down the list. Definitely an awesome track car - partially because they can be a bit of a handful, depending on model and setup. Driving fast in a car that will bite you is so much more rewarding than driving some nanny-filled engineering mobile that won’t let you screw up…
Challenge accepted - return in 9 months with pictures and receipts.
That’s hilarious. I never thought of that (mostly cause I am not organized enough to keep the original blades to put back on). And it seems like I am always buying different sizes.

I live in Georgia, the state. All four seasons. These blades just last forever. Mostly because they are silicon instead of rubber. When was the last time you had to replace a silicon spatula? I was dubious of the claims till I started using them, but they are awesome.

Agreed, I have to think this is a case of a good product (Bosch) having a much better PR machine than the best product (PIAA). I’d be tempted to try a pair just to make sure - but the PIAA are so good, I don’t know how the Bosch could improve on the performance any. And people saying they lasted 1-2 years is weak…

These, hands down. I have never had to replace a set I put on a car. No rain for 2 months in the GA summer, then get a sprinkle? No chatter, no moment of having to get wet to work. Silent, smooth and clean every time. I’ve had a couple of the different frame options, all outstanding.

We bought a RF just recently - full disclosure, we owned an NB a few years back. Got the RF partly cause I am partly a coupe first/roadster second guy and partly cause it just looks so good. We drove the soft top - which I still love and have some tiny regret not getting (I don’t open the top as often because I can’t…
What are you normally into in a car? I know some people who passed on a Miata because they are so impractical (it’s true, I’m on my second one now) and some because the tiny size makes them uncomfortable driving surrounded by Dino-burbans - but I am not sure I ran into anyone who just didn’t enjoy the experience.
Haha, yeah - I had to wonder about your age when I read your post. Living through the 80s - it was a dark time for auto, interiors especially. They all looked terrible, but at least you could expect them to fall apart from the sun’s rays before too long. I had a Topaz in New Orleans the summer heat would make some of…
Aha! There is one, at least. I just bought a Miata RF. Granted, had there been one off a short lease... I would’ve been interested. :P
All you say is true - and the reason we should end gymnastics as a competitive sport. Anything that requires that level of sacrifice from a child and does such harm - just end it. To be honest, the desire to win so bad that you start your child in the sport before they ever even know what the Olympics are is so…
It’s a matter of intrusion, I think. Stability control was only ever meant to correct your path - apply brakes to one tire, that sort of thing. Some of them would lower your power when trying to blast out of a corner but the amount of influence on the car was minimal compared to some of these systems.
Haha, I had the same thought. There was a dashcam video showing some Russian guys jump out of their car to do hand-to-hand combat with a wild boar attacking a woman - these people just sort of - saunter around. “Well, I suppose we’ve given them enough time to collect themselves - wouldn’t want to seem rude.”
I’ll just leave this here for you to peruse. #stupidpeoplearescary
It’s code for GM obsessed dudes who want to ruin every classic car - as is “This thing would be sweet if it just had an SBC.”
I know! If they had listed “Trans need work, want to unload project” it would the same grousing - “Why didn’t they fix that before selling? Huge red flag? I love red flags. Whine whine whine.” It’s the same every NPOCP. I have to think there are some people out there just needing to sell there cars - and it happens at…
