Nothing like subjective judgment that can end in violence or arrest, right?

It’s consistent with everything else America’s governments have done to lock minorities, women, and LGBT folks out of the party.

Laws aimed at keeping the Chinese from participating in business. Laws aimed at marginalizing Blacks. Laws setup to keep LGBT people out of schools, homes, businesses, and religious spaces,

This isn’t what you deserve. Actual critique on writing style or content, sure. But this? Good christ, no. It’s bad enough that you have to see this in your work, but there’s always the threat someone might actually make good on the threats. No good person deserves this.

You’re rock-solid, steel-strong.

It’s a really human moment - for the viewers, it lets men know that what some of us are saying is awful. These things are so awful other men wouldn’t say them, much less to someone’s face.

For the men, for the (hopefully) minority of the men who read them who might say something like that, it’ll put them on the spot

I saw this article and though, “Dark Souls was a 1996 Playstation game. It was called King’s Field and it was a tortuously difficult experience.”

Missed that part. Ok.

You’re right about all of that. I didn’t think Manziel would wash out - at least not at draft day. I figured he’d be a problem and be stuck at back-up for awhile as he got himself straightened out. But with all the stuff that’s happened up until now, it’s like, “well that’s not a shock.”

“Target’s policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims.

I thought that was through positions of trust, like a parent, guardian, family member, family friend, teacher, religious authority figure, or member of law enforcement?

No snark, but I’m pretty I’ve seen stats that support this. I know that

It’s cool. But oh man, while I dig Moss as an athlete and all...that dude was a mess in his college years and an issue in his pro days.

OH. Let me add “based on info I got right now” about Winston. I didn’t follow Winston’s run or Cam’s run into the draft as much as Bridgewater/Manziel.

But I’m Texan, so it was all about Manziel down here, and while I get he’s another Texan, he’s also an abject failure.

Bridgewater was the more balanced, more technically proficient QB of the two. Manziel looked flashy but honestly, he had to since he had a thing for
“hope for the best” high, floaty passes and wouldn’t always check his WRs down in time and had to scramble.

It’s just that as far as discipline shit - Bridgewater didn’t

Winston had actual criminal shit going on in college. Newton didn’t, but still had some attitude issues. So it’d be like, Newton/Manziel/Winston if they all were draft-eligible the same year. Something like that.

He had a lot of “toss em up and hope for the best” plays, which was another thing that moved him down my list. You’re very right there.

Shit, I’d have nearly dropped him for the concerns of behavior. Talent is nice, but wanting to apply it is better.

His character was beyond questionable before he took off the Aggie uniform. I thought everyone knew that. You can’t fix ~20 years of shitty behavior by basically encouraging it with accolades and money and on the side saying, “go seek therapy.”

Meanwhile, the “other” draft-day QB, Teddy Bridgewater, who while in

Let’s not even try to tally the ripple-effect costs from this.

Basically.

It won’t go into the wrong bathroom, it can’t be told to sit at the back of the bus, it can’t be walled off, and it can’t be “bombed into the stone age.”

Everything about that game felt like an MMO kicked to be a single-player game, The UI, the art direction and style of the graphics, and that the world felt like it had oddly large yet empty spaces.
