Basically. And you know those sports riots won’t have the same sort of armed and armored response that a “black riot” would get, too.

No, more like criminalizing white folks that take part in racist action and then holding complicit white folks accountable for those around them.

“There’s no racism here, you damned blafricoons!”

*facepalm*

Seriously, seriously. Oh, that and the “blacks are typically the ones who start riots” line. That one is awesome. I’d wager there are more white folks starting riots for stupid shit, like, IDK, sports than anything else.

I noticed that - FO4 is more dangerous than the previous games. Fighting is a lot more demanding and in the built-up environments, you’re checking 2-3 levels above and below you for threats.

The Corvega was a lot more demanding than I thought. It felt less like a Fallout “dungeon” and more like something out of a good tactical shooter. Lots of places to get the drop on the opposition, lots of ways to get the drop on them, and more than a few ways to use the environment to your advantage.

FONV was pretty bad about that. It didn’t feel big enough and it didn’t feel busy enough. While I really did enjoy it, the game didn’t make the best of its geography.

The dialogue thing I like - it’d seem counterintuitive, but BioWare and Obsidian had it right for Mass Effect and Alpha Protocol. If you can even remotely customize your character, it’s nice to see them onscreen taking cues from you. It’s really good for getting the PC/player bond going.

I can live with smaller maps,

Yeah, hollow threat or not, it has to be taken seriously. I agree with the prof on the moral grounds, but he didn’t think out the part where he wasn’t on the list of people to be targeted. Like, he might have become one by teaching despite the threat, but he wasn’t a specific target.

I’m from a mixed race family, I’m in a mixed-race relationship. I’m the adopted Asian kid with a Black dad and half-Black/Asian brother. I’m an Asian guy married to a White/Native american woman. I already get some perspective from being Asian, but having Black folks in the family gives me a lot of perspective - both

He’s partially right. His mistake is that he isn’t being targeted and spoke like he was. He messed up and delivered it pretty coldly without *seemingly* checking to see if law enforcement was stepping up security and chasing down the guy behind the threats. He could go teach without really worrying about being shot.

Not yet, I gotta tell you that the pyramids are grain silos and that aliens made them, then I get my Carson ID.

That belltower massacre - the level of fuckery in that was amazing. Whitman basically didn’t have to do anything to get the guns he used, university security didn’t properly check his ID, and then law enforcement didn’t have the tools to deal with him once he set up.

Funny enough, Whitman might actually have qualified

It’s not really a matter of color - if there was some shit on my campus targeting Asians, I’d say the same damn thing. I’d be asking for law enforcement to show up and then say, “Alright, you wanna go to class, go. We got you covered.”

I’m not, I’m trying to be strategic. I’m also not saying “all students go to class,” either. So you let people opt out. But you secure the people who are choosing to go, and you try to take steps to get ahead and capture the terrorist.

Terrorists like to take control of things, and they like to do so at gunpoint. In

The fact that they are terrorists is specifcally the reason why it’s important not to let them win. For one, it’s a morale shot against the people being attacked. It tells them that these assholes can dictate how they spend their lives. It tells them that some asshole with an email account, regardless of actual threat

Prof. Brigham is at least partially right. That email and the person who sent it along are garbage. Don’t let them win. Let them stew in their own emotional and intellectual excrement. But if that’s what he was thinking, he should’ve probably been clear about it. His response to questions was cold.

The cost of weddings, but likely the cost of just getting by. Even for people who are fully employed, trying to set aside money for a wedding - even a small one - is tough when there’s either a.) debt or b.) the usual costs of living to compete with.

Of course it’s a maladjusted looking guy. Of course.

Shit, 17 is old enough. She knew what was going on but wouldn’t back out.

“Remember Billy Crudup?”

No, actually. Who is this?
